We were based in South Beach, there are so many different things to see, we jumped on a hop on hop off to get round.

Miami Beach
- A board walk runs 4 miles along between beach and hotels
- To complement the blue sea and white sand are brightly coloured parasol and sun beds to rent or just rock up with your own towel plenty of beach to go around
- If you like a stroll sand or boardwalk you will come across 29 lifeguard towers walking from south pointe pier to 85th street
Wynwood Walls
- The place to see street art, graffiti since 2009
- Over 50 artists from 16 countries have covered over 80,000 feet of walls
- It was turned from a warehouse district by Tony Goldman and his goal was to create a centre where people would gravitate too, well he has certainly done that
Little Havana
- A vibrant community in Miami, which boasts cigar shops, Cuban restaurants and salsa dancing
- Domino Park – where locals gather and play dominos and discuss world affairs, while tourists and locals watch
- Also take a wander along SW 8th street otherwise known as Calle Ocho Walk of Fame you’ll notice the side walk is makes with pink marble stars to recognise Cuban celebrities
South Pointe Park
- Above is a photo from the South Pointe Pier along here are photo op’s and seating so you can watch the world go by or the cruise ships that dock in Miami harbour
- The park consists of 17 acres which include a beach ( as pictured) , park and pier for you to soak up the Miami sun and atmosphere is the most chilled and laidback ways
Ocean Drive
- The most famous of drives – has had songs sung about it, a backdrop for movies and tv series
- Buildings in the era of Art Deco lovingly taken care of in their Pastel shades of decadence, stroll along and be taken back in time
- Along Ocean Drive lots of places to eat, drink and absorb, also The Villa Casa Casuarina brought by Italian designer Versace in 1992 for just under $3million dollars, there is a statue out front of the mansion where Versace was shot in 1997.
Jayne note- Miami stole a piece of my heart, I always thought of Miami as a beach resort but it has those beaches but also so much more to offer.
Ps – the sunrises are definitely worth getting up for
